Breezy afternoon today but nowhere near as strong as yesterday. An upper level ridge taking over so the threat of winds has subsided at least for a little while.
A band of high winds stretched from NW Hidalgo county to west Texas today creating dust along that path. Below is the RUC prediction for 00 UTC (6 pm) today.
The AQI forecast was for an area of moderate air quality around the Paso del Norte.
